Cast Gets Emotional Saying Goodbye
Like the fans, the Young Sheldon cast has had an equally emotional reaction to news of the series officially coming to an end. Iain Armitage, who plays the role of Sheldon in Young Sheldon, took to social media to share his thoughts on the news.
In case you wondered, I love my family. There’s about 200 more people who make @youngsheldoncbs happen and I’m grateful for each of them. We will make the best 7th season we can possibly make- and behind the scenes there will be lots of laughter and lots of tears because I love all of these people so much.
Raegan Revord, who plays Sheldon’s sister, Missy, popped into the comments to admit she could not stop crying after learning the series was ending. She added that she also loved the family she developed during her time on the show.

In response to Iain Armitage’s post, many fans begged them not to kill off George before bringing the series to an end. Fans recognized that Sheldon does speak of losing his father at a young age in Big Bang Theory. They, however, hope Young Sheldon ends before that tragedy comes to pass.
