Kaitlyn Bristowe angered fans with dance video
Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe made a dance video and shared it on social media. Fans were not happy because in the video she threw her engagement ring. Many took that to be a diss towards Jason Tartick. After all the hate she received, Kaitlyn went to social media to apologize and explain what the dance meant to her.
In the video, shared on Instagram Stories, Kaitlyn says she is sorry about the video but people took the meaning wrong. She said it was in no way meant to throw stones at anyone. She also said it was more about the empowerment of women.
Kaitlyn went on to say that she gets asked all the time why she’s 38 and not married. She also revealed people making comments that she’s running out of time. So, she maintains that the dance video was about what society has taught women to believe and how they take much more heat than men do.
After her initial apology, Kaitlyn made a second video saying she knows she triggers many people for some reason. She knows because of the hate she gets online. She said she’s a messy person and that is okay.
Kaitlyn wants everyone to know that her intentions are always pure and she wants to do what is right. However, she still wants to use her voice to stand up for herself. But, her intentions are coming from a good place.
She suffers from a lot of depression and anxiety
Kaitlyn Bristowe has never shied away from the fact that she suffers from depression and anxiety. She shows her fans her vulnerability often. Her followers love that about her.
Kaitlyn has now had two broken engagements. She was first engaged to Shawn Booth. Then, after breaking up with him, she and Jason Tartick got together. They announced their split towards the end of summer.
Both of them have been honest in that the split was hard. They are sharing their two dogs and still remain friends.
