Chip & Joanna Gaines Selling Iconic Property For Just Under 1M
Chip and Joanna Gaines are well-known for their house-flipping abilities. And now, one of their very iconic properties is up for sale in McGregor, Texas.
Fixer Upper fans will recall that Chip and Joanna worked on the beautiful property on their show. Although it has a pretty high price tag, it is now on the market and ready for the right buyer to come along.

Chip & Joanna Gaines say goodbye to the Magnolia House
According to local news outlet KWTX, the Fixer Upper stars had been using the property as an Airbnb, which had been wildly popular with fans.
KWTX reports that the Magnolia House is located at 323 Madison Street in McGregor, Texas. According to the online listing, the home has seven bedrooms, four bathrooms, and plenty of space to enjoy. It’s a 2,800 square foot property and the asking price is $995,000.
But it’s still a sellers market and many Fixer Upper fans would love to own the property. It’s likely that the Magnolia House could sell for well over one million dollars.
Fans who want to have a look at the stunning property can check out the Magnolia House’s Airbnb site. For $875 a night, groups can stay in the beautiful house.
According to KWTX, this is the statement given about selling the property:
“Magnolia, in partnership with Magnolia Realty, plans to sell their two McGregor, TX-based vacation rental homes to loving hands this fall as the brand looks toward the opening of Hotel 1928 in downtown Waco. Magnolia has been honored to host guests from all around the world in these special homes, and has loved being a part of the McGregor community. The brand remains passionate about welcoming visitors to Waco, TX and looks forward to the future of doing that through the hotel and their Waco-based vacation rental properties.”
The Gaines family has more projects on the way
Although it’s a major move for Chip and Joanna, they’re working on other projects too. Recently, the couple announced two new shows will come to the Magnolia network. This is excellent news for avid HGTV fans.
