Jon Gosselin Still Wants Relationship With Estranged Kids
Jon Gosselin tried for many years to reconcile with his estranged kids, Cara, and Mady, and the twins’ younger siblings, Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel. It’s nearly been a decade since the twins talked to him, and he only sees two of the sextuplets, Collin and Hannah. However, the former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star won’t give up and hopes new circumstances will get a response from them.
Jon Gosselin Only Sees Hannah And Collin
It’s been nearly five years since Collin ended up in the custody of his dad after his mom, Kate sent him to an institution. Sadly, it seems that when her ex-husband got him out she wasn’t interested in even fighting for custody. To this day, Collin still remains estranged from his mom. Unfortunately, it seems his fellow sextuplets don’t have anything to do with him, either. In fact, only his sister Hannah seems close, because she also opted to live with her father.
Jon Gosselin recently reached out in response to his daughter Mady, who slammed Collin for his appearance on VICE TV’s Dark Side of the 2000s. After he alleged details of abuse claims, she countered that he was actually the vicious person in their home. In fact, she said that Collin was “hateful and even violent…I refuse to compromise for ANYONE, even my brother Collin.” Certainly, it seems that the DJ stands little chance of reconciliation with her, but he is still hopeful and he blames his ex-wife, Kate for brainwashing the kids.

Jon Gosselin Wants To Bond Now The Kids Are In College
Recently, the sextuplets turned 19, and Collin and his dad ate a meal together. Hannah also saw her dad on her birthday. However, the other kids just ignored their father’s birthday greetings. It’s been going on for years now, but he’s hopeful that with the sextuplets going to college, they might respond to his overtures. Still, he doesn’t think that breaching the estrangement will be a doddle in the park.
This week. The Sun reported that a source said that Jon Gosselin hoped “that Joel, Aaden, Leah and Alexis are in college, they will reach out to him.” Citing the source, the outlet wrote, “He has high hopes that as soon as they are all out of the house and Kate can no longer push her agenda, he can begin to rebuild a relationship.” Of course, the TLC alum knows that getting any responses might take a very long time. However, he’s going to “do everything to make up for lost years together.”
Nearly Two Decades Of Toxicity
Jon Gosselin’s sextuplets will turn 20 years old in 2024. TLC fans who watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 saw that from the youngest age, the kids experienced their mother slamming her husband at any opportunity, In fact, she wasn’t afraid to blame him for every little thing that went wrong with the kids. Additionally, she wasn’t shy about screeching at him at the top of her voice in public. Actually, viewers saw a lot of toxic scenes.
