Joe Amabile, Serena Pitt Officially Wed For Second Time
Bachelor in Paradise fan favorite couple Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt officially wed for the second time Saturday night. They first legally got married at a courthouse last October in New York City. Now at The Cedar Room in Charleston, South Carolina, they said their vows again but this time in front of their family and friends. They were even wed by a very special friend and Bachelor alum. Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt officially wed for the second time
BIP faves Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt got married for the second time Saturday night, September 2. Wells Adams officiated the ceremony for this amazing couple. Ahead of their nuptials, Joe said to People, “This time around it feels like the start of an exciting new chapter and we are looking forward to continuing doing life together.”
Since Joe is from Chicago and Serena is from Toronto, they wanted to find a neutral location for their special day. They wanted somewhere their families could meet up and make special memories with Joe and Serena.
Serena and chose ended up choosing Charleston. She said, “We wanted to pick a fun weekend getaway city that was accessible to most of our family and friends and had a venue we loved!” She continued, “Charleston is so beautiful and the minute we visited the city and The Cedar Room we could instantly envision our wedding there.”
They tried to keep some of their menu options southern to adhere to Charleston. They had a dessert bar and also top-notch alcoholic beverages. Joe noted there would be plenty of food for their 134 guests.

Joe and Serena wanted to ensure their guests had a wonderful time as well. She wore two different dresses and hairstyles. One for the wedding ceremony itself and another for their reception.
Some of the guests from Bachelor Nation included Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer, Andrew Spencer and his new girlfriend, Anna Redman and Chris Bukowski, Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland and also Nick Viall and Natalie Joy.
After the couple wrapped up their big day, they were going to jet off to Italy or more specifically Lake Como, Florence and Tuscany. Serena shared that Joe planned their entire trip. She said, “Joe booked our entire Honeymoon, down to the dinner reservations! It’s going to be unbelievably romantic. And the perfect fit for us as major pasta lovers.”
