Bringing Up Bates stars Lydia and Trace Bates admitted that they are “a bit nervous” after their recent prenatal appointment. Online, Trace Bates and his wife, Lydia, have been sharing regular updates about her first pregnancy.
Fans have enjoyed being a part of the journey. Lydia and Trace have shared footage of themselves finding out she’s pregnant and learning the baby’s gender. They also shared a fun name reveal, telling the world they’ve chosen the name Ryker Cruise for their son.
Now, they are opening up about some concerning information they received while at a regular prenatal checkup. What’s going on?
The Bringing Up Bates couple admits they are ‘a bit nervous’ now.
In Lydia and Trace Bates’ latest YouTube video, they documented the latest prenatal checkup, which included the glucose test and an ultrasound. While sharing the video, the couple explained what’s going on with Baby Ryker. They wrote:
“All his vitals looked great but he is measuring super small. He has dropped from the 30% to the 6%. Definitely making us a bit nervous but don’t want to get too worried until we go back next week.”
In the video, Trace and Lydia requested prayers for their little guy. The doctors are going to continue monitoring Baby Ryker’s growth and are looking for steady weight gain. There’s a chance he will need to spend time in the NICU once he arrives, but it’s too early to know for sure at this point.
In the comments section of the video, fans are sharing their thoughts and prayers. Many have been in a similar position and their babies have ended up doing well. So, that may be reassuring for Trace and Lydia to read.
