‘Bringing Up Bates’ Trace Bates Marries Lydia Romeike
It’s a great day for the Bringing Up Bates family! On Saturday, October 1, Trace Bates married Lydia Romeike in Tennessee. Keep reading to get all of the details about their special day.
Trace and Lydia got engaged in March. Since then, the Bates family has been very busy making wedding preparations. However, it hasn’t necessarily been smooth sailing. They’ve faced some issues along the way, from the wrong colored bridesmaid dress coming in to having to move their wedding indoors due to Hurricane Ian causing storms in Tennessee.
As TV Shows Ace reported, last week, Lydia and Trace got their marriage license. And now, they’re officially husband and wife!
Bringing Up Bates: Trace Bates and Lydia Romeike tie the knot.
On Saturday evening, People reported that the couple has officially tied the knot! The wedding was at the Hill Barn wedding venue in Jefferson City, Tennessee and had 350 guests in attendance.
In an exclusive statement to People, the couple shared:
“Today our lives changed forever! We move from being best friends to being husband and wife — so surreal! There are no words to describe how excited we are! We have waited for this day for so long.”
They also said, “Celebrating with our family and friends and making our vows to love and follow Christ together is priceless. The wedding planning has had its challenges, but the best part of it all is that we are going to drive away to spend the rest of our lives together!”
The magazine reports that the wedding had a rustic theme.
So far, Lydia and Trace have not posted on social media to share their big news. But they will likely update Bringing Up Bates fans soon and share all kinds of pictures and videos.
For now, they will be heading on their honeymoon and adjusting to married life. Their honeymoon is in Hawaii. They have recently been working on renovating their apartment, which Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart previously rented.
