Josie Bates Balka Freaks Out Over Bridesmaid Dress Disaster
Bringing Up Bates fans got an update from Josie Bates Balka as she prepared for her brother Trace’s upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, she has a disaster on her hands with her bridesmaid dress. What’s the situation, and is she able to get it resolved in time for Lydia Romeike and Trace’s wedding? Keep reading to get all of the details.
Lydia Romeike and Trace Bates’ Wedding
If you didn’t know, Trace will be marrying Lydia in less than a week now. Their wedding is on Saturday, October 1, so the big day is almost here. The couple shared this week that they picked up their marriage license.
Josie Bates and Lydia Romeike are best friends, so Josie is one of the bridesmaids. Because Josie does hair, she helped Lydia freshen up her look before the wedding.
As Lydia and Trace get ready for their big day, however, Josie Bates is dealing with an issue of her own with her bridesmaid dress.
Josie Bates Balka’s Bridesmaid Dress Disaster
On her Instagram Stories last week, Josie shared the whole story with fans and revealed what went wrong with her bridesmaid dress. When her dress came in, it ended up being a different color than all of the other bridesmaids’ dresses, which was not supposed to happen. She only found this out after she had all of the alterations done.
So, last minute, she had to order the correct dress. Josie explained that, typically, the dresses take a while to come in and it originally wasn’t supposed to arrive until after the wedding. Fortunately, it got there quicker and she just needs to get it altered before the big day.
On her Instagram Stories, Josie also shared a photo as she and her mom, as well as a few other friends and family members, went with Lydia for the last wedding dress fitting. You can see that photo below.
Hopefully, all of the alterations will be completed in time for the big day. It sounds like Josie got very lucky with the dress in the correct color arriving ahead of schedule.
