Could Alyssa Bates’ Sickness Force Her To Miss Trace’s Wedding?
Bringing Up Bates fans are wondering whether Alyssa Bates Webster will be at her brother Trace’s wedding on October 1. She previously missed her brother, Lawson Bates’ wedding earlier this year. In case you missed it, Alyssa recently announced that she is expecting her fifth child. As TV Shows Ace reported, however, she is very sick. This happens with all of her pregnancies, but this one seems to be worse.
Alyssa Bates skips Lawson & Tiffany’s wedding.
Back in May, when Lawson and Tiffany tied the knot, Alyssa let fans know in advance that she wouldn’t be there. The wedding was in San Diego, while she lives in Florida. So, that would be an expensive trip.
In a Q&A session on Alyssa Bates’ YouTube channel, someone asked whether she’d be going to Lawson’s wedding. So, she explained, “I feel like this is a hard one because obviously he’s my brother and I would love to go to his wedding. But in the past year, we’ve already traveled to two weddings, and with the prices of things right now, it’s so expensive to travel.”
Bringing Up Bates fans think she may miss this wedding, too.
On Reddit, fans are discussing the possibility of Alyssa Bates missing Trace’s wedding next weekend. Some are convinced that she will skip it because she’s been so sick during this pregnancy.
One fan pointed out, “I think her severe morning sickness plus the fact that none of them are in the wedding will have her stay home.”
Many others agree with this and they don’t blame her if she made this decision.
It’s possible that the cost of travel has come into consideration too. However, it’s worth noting that Trace and Lydia’s wedding is in Tennessee, and Alyssa often travels there from Florida anyway. It’s a much smaller ask than San Diego was in May.
Has Alyssa Bates mentioned Trace’s big day?
At this point, Alyssa hasn’t said whether she will be at Trace’s wedding. A couple of other family members have mentioned it, however. Carlin Bates said they have a busy week ahead getting ready for the wedding. And Katie and Travis Clark, who live in New Jersey, already said they would be traveling to Tennessee for the occasion.
Fans will have to wait and see whether Alyssa and her family make it to the wedding. It will also be interesting to see if they end up addressing it at all.
