Is Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson making big moves without her longtime boyfriend, Dralin Carswell? The high school graduate is preparing for her future. Honey Boo Boo Making Big Moves Without Boyfriend?
When Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson was thinking about college, she thought she found the perfect one. When she talked to Dr. Ish over video, she had one concern. The school she really wanted to go to was in Colorado. This left many questions up in the air. How would her family feel and would her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell come with her? Dr. Ish had to remind her how critical this moment was in her life. She had to go for it and her family was shocked when she got accepted to Regis University. In the Mama June: Family Crisis season finale, Alana got the call that she had gotten in. However, no one knew where the school was.
Both Mama June and Alana’s sister, Pumpkin were not happy that she chose a school in Colorado. Yet, Alana had to let them know that it had one of the best programs for neonatal nursing. Since then, Honey Boo Boo shared that she had received a 21K scholarship to the school. Plus, she had been looking for places to live in the area. So, once she leaves Georgia, presumably next month, what will happen between her and Dralin?
According to People, the seventeen-year-old is ready for the next chapter but unsure where her boyfriend factors in. “I’ve already did [sic] a college tour of the college and right now, I’m currently just trying to find me a spot to stay in. After I find a spot, I’ll basically have everything in line to go,” Alana shared. So, will Dralin be in that spot with her? “I’m just not sure yet. I don’t know on that just yet. We would have to figure that out with obviously his family because he has some family down here.”
Will It Be Filmed?
The big question is if fans will get to see Honey Boo Boo go to college. Of course, they want to follow her journey as they have seen her since she was a toddler. The last season of Family Crisis ended with Mama June’s vow renewal but that was at the beginning of 2023. Fans will undoubtedly want to see Alana graduate and prepare to leave. So, will this happen? “I don’t know if the cameras will be following me just yet. Y’all are just going to really have to wait and see what happens.”
