It is not a foreign concept for Mama June and her daughters to go online and try to make money in any way that they can. In fact, it was June who encouraged Pumpkin to get on TikTok and bring in an income when her cupboards were bare. Unfortunately, Pumpkin has received an immense amount of backlash for her behavior and more. Yet, the family hustles and there is no doubt about that. Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson has used her social media for a lot of promotions. She has also given out her information so that people could send her gifts.
In the latest season of Mama June: Family Crisis, Pumpkin saw that the Honey Boo Boo name was alive and well. Therefore, she encouraged her sister to use it in order to get things that she needed and wanted. In the end, her whole senior portrait photoshoot was paid for. This included her hair, makeup, and all that went with this special day and she did not have to drop a dime. That led the family to start doing meet and greets which garnered big crowds. Now, Alana is looking to make even more money and fast.
She posted to her Instagram stories a pitch for those who want to get their name out there. Honey Boo Boo is looking to be a brand ambassador for small businesses. More so, she guarantees that they will get the exposure they deserve. However, she has one stipulation- inquiries must come directly from business pages only. Or, she will not deal with these businesses. It seems that Alana is willing to work with just about anybody at this point.
Don’t Be Like Mama
It was not too long ago that Mama June was called out for overpromoting. She was promoting everything from snacks to crystals on her social media page. Fans felt that it was a little too much and hopefully, Honey Boo Boo does not fall into that trap. She has already been compared to her mother and did not like that one bit. Maybe she can actually launch companies that are vital and can do some good in the world.
