On Friday, Gleb Savchenko went on Instagram to announce that he is starring in an upcoming romcom with Danica McKellar. The DWTS pro shared that he is “grateful and thrilled” to make his acting debut.
He revealed on the social media platform that he is starring in Swing For Romance with Danica McKellar, and David Haydn-Jones.
Excited to announce my first role in a movie and can’t wait to bring this character to life of Alex Ivanov. Working Hard, pushing boundaries, and embracing every moment.
Along with his post, Gleb shared several photos from the Great American Family set of this Autumn-themed romcom.

Gleb Savchenko was especially appreciative of Danica McKellar. The DWTS pro praised The Wonder Years alum for “guiding” him through his first venture into acting. He also revealed that the two are dancing in this movie.

According to Danica’s Instagram, the two mentored each other. Gleb portrays her ex-fiancé and ex-dance partner who wind up working together again. That means lots of dance scenes. Also, David Haydn-Jones had to learn dance steps, as Danica dances with him as well. The Supernatural star has never danced in a movie before.
Haydn-Jones and McKellar had previously starred in My Christmas Dream. This is their first reunion since this classic movie.
