Tori Spelling has been accused of using her marital woes to snag the spotlight. Recently, she and her husband, Dean McDermott announced that they were ending their marriage. A few weeks back, Dean McDermott posted that he and Tori Spelling were ending their nearly two-decade marriage. Not too many people were shocked as their romance has been riddled with drama. By the time fans were able to head over to Dean’s social media to see the actual announcement, it was gone. Just a day or two prior, the couple, along with their children, were all smiles so it seemed very suspicious. Why did he post the divorce news and then retract it? More so, were they really getting divorced or was it just a spur-of-the-moment angry posting?
Now, it is being questioned if Tori Spelling has been using her marital woes to stay in the spotlight. At the end of last year, she, along with a few of her children, were hospitalized all in a short period of time. However, some felt that was faking it so she shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed. Furthermore, she declared that she was not faking it and was actually sick. It did keep her in the spotlight for some time so is the same happening with her divorce?
According to Page Six, McDermott is blaming Tori for a lot in their marriage becoming known on a public level. Per a source to the Daily Mail: “For a very long time, Tori used their marital problems to stay relevant. Everyone knew about their issues, and she didn’t play it down, she played it — even going so far [as] to go outside where she knew paparazzi were waiting holding papers that were a clear indication of a divorce.”
‘Entitled’ Tori
The source also shared that Dean McDermott has shared that he tries to do all he can for Tori Spelling. However, she still remains “demanding and entitled.” It has been hard since the beginning as they were both married to other people when they fell in love. Then, Dean ended up cheating on Tori not too long into their marriage. This all played out on a reality show and it seemed that Dean was forever paying for his mistake. Even a few holidays ago, he was absent from the family holiday photo. There’s a lot to unpack in this marriage and who knows where they will go next.
