Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott Divorce: Splitting After 18 Years
As fans recall, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have been together for nearly two decades. They eloped back in 2006 in Fiji. Unfortunately, this couple that many loved has decided they no longer work and they are splitting up.
Kicking off his statement, the Canadian actor admitted it was with “great sadness” and an extremely heavy heart that he tells the world things are ending between him and Tori Spelling. Dean attached a photo of himself with Tori as well as a photo of their family as he issued an official statement.
after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own. We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.
Dean McDermott proceeded to tell his 137K followers that he and Tori would need some privacy and space to figure out how to navigate the next chapter in their life in the best way possible for their children.

As of this morning, Tori Spelling has NOT joined Dean in issuing a statement regarding their decision to divorce. In fact, just yesterday things looked perfectly normal on Tori’s Instagram as she posted a family photo of everyone coming together to celebrate Stella’s 15th birthday. Fans of this couple (and their children) hope this post just a day before the divorce news means this couple will be working things out without things getting nasty or heated.
Unfortunately, Dean McDermott’s statement did NOT include any information regarding why this marriage is now over. More details will likely come out as media outlets get their hands on the divorce paperwork.
