Nutsa Ridiculed On ‘American Idol’ For Ignoring Adam Lambert
Last week, fans were angry that the American Idol judges saved Nutsa Buzaladze. Then, this week they made their feelings known. It was clear after she ignored the advice of Adam Lambert that the fans wouldn’t let her go easy. The votes made her part of the bottom two, sending the singer home.

This time last season, Carrie Underwood showed up to help mentor the singers, and those who listened to her advice did well in the finals. Now, another major name from the past returned as a mentor. Though Adam Lambert didn’t win his season, he has gone on to have an amazing career, both as a solo star and as part of the legendary Queen.
This seemed especially exciting for Nutsa Buzaladze, who professed that she was a massive fan. She said that her favorite musician was none other than Adam Lambert. This meant that she had a special opportunity. She had a chance to listen to and learn from her self-professed favorite musician. However, when he gave his advice, she ignored most of it.
In his time as her mentor, Lambert told her that he was worried about the fact that she always sang “big diva songs.” He mentioned she had a big voice, but she needed to show a more vulnerable side. When he was on the show, Lambert didn’t just deliver giant songs for the competition, but also other songs to show what all he could do.
He remarked that she should possibly choose a different song for the Top 12 round after he learned she planned to sing the Queen song, “The Show Must Go On.” However, Nutsa ignored his advice and went through with the planned song anyway. She did take some of his advice and toned down the singing to hit the “more angelic notes.”
Fans bash Nutsa for ignoring Lambert’s advice
By the end, the audience at home realized that she wasn’t going to listen to Lambert’s advice. This meant that it was time for Nutsa to go home. She ended up in the bottom two of the voting. That marked the end of the road for the singer on American Idol.
Just a few weeks ago, many fans were warming up to Nutsa. This happened after Katy Perry told her that she needed to tone things down and go a little easier on the pageantry. When she said this, the crowd booed the judge and said that she was being too harsh on the singer.
Just a few weeks later, Adam Lambert gave her the same advice and the fans were all for it. While they blasted Katy for being “harsh,” they agreed when Lambert said the exact same thing. As a result, instead of defending the singer, the fans voted her off the show.
