‘American Idol’ Season 21: Meet Contestant Nutsa Buzaladze
American Idol has returned for yet another season introducing hidden talent from different parts of the country. For most of the contestants, it is their debut on TV. However, one contestant has already been successful in other reality shows and is now trying their luck on the ABC show. Nutsa Buzaladze has previously competed in The Voice and X Factor Georgia. Nutsa Buzaladze First Participated In New Wave In 2014
Nutsa Buzaladze is a 25-year-old pop artist from Dubai who has ample experience appearing in singing competitions. She gained acclaim at the age of 17 after winning New Wave in 2014. It is an international competition where young singers cover popular music. In 2015, the aspiring artist participated in Turkey’s version of the popular reality show The Voice. She managed to turn four chairs with her blind audition performance of Lady Marmalade. She became a part of Team Hadis (a well-known Turkish artist).

Again in 2017, she was a part of the Eurovision Song Contest and finished at the second spot with a song titled White Horses Run. In 2020, she appeared on All Together Now and belted out an impressive version of the song Creep. At the time of writing, the song has been viewed more than 630,000 times on YouTube. She also won the international artist award in the Albanian singing competition, Kënga Magjike.
Nutsa Buzaladze Broke Her Leg In Dancing With The Stars
Apart from being a successful singer, she also tried her luck in Georgia’s version of Dancing With The Stars. However, she ended up breaking her leg in the competition. Talking about the injury she said, “Unfortunately, I broke my legs. Ugh, it was really, really bad days for me.”

She also gave some insights about her experience in singing reality shows and said, “I started participating in contests when I was 8 years old. I know exactly what you need when you’re in the contest. It’s a lot of pressure, a lot of work you have to do. Every time I step in the contest, I switch my mind on to go from here to there.”
Nutsa Buzaladze Has Already Released An Album In 2019
Nutsa Buzaladze has also released music under her full name as well as just Nutsa. Her album titled Nutsa22 released in 2019 had 8 tracks including White Horses Run and three others in the English language. Her latest English songs include Let U Go, We Are One, and You Broke My Heart released in 2020 and 2021.

I’ve been American citizen for 20 years. Ive seen lots of injustice and discrimination that I could never imagined can happen in USA, but response from some Americans, bullying and hate has show me totally different side of the rasizm in this country. It’s like waking up to a different reality . So when someone with American name posts something nice makes me feel so happy and emotional. Thank you all who didn’t participate in hate and bullying ecstasy towards Nutsa. Thank you for been simply the nice person.
