‘Sister Wives’ Spin-Offs NOT Happening & Here’s Why
There have been a lot of rumors swirling that Sister Wives spin-offs were on the table with TLC. Moreover, there were even rumors confirming that a green light had been given to a spin-off focusing on Christine and Janelle after leaving Kody Brown. As Tv Shows Ace previously reported, a producer of the TLC series recently sat down with Variety to talk about the future of the show and whether spin-offs were a real possibility. Unfortunately, his answer wasn’t exactly what fans wanted to hear.
Sister Wives spin-offs have been tabled for the time being, why?
Chris Poole, the producer, tells Variety that he loves the idea of spin-offs. He, however, believes there is a time and a place for them. And, right now, the OG series has a lot of stories left to tell. Moreover, Chris Poole explains that a lot of the spin-offs people are asking for are stories the production team has already been filming and plans to tell in future seasons of Sister Wives. So, the network has tabled the idea of any spin-offs for now as they continue to focus on Sister Wives instead.
According to this producer, Kody Brown losing three of his four wives is massive to the storyline. But, that doesn’t mean the storyline comes to an end. In fact, the fracturing of this family poses one big question: How does a family move forward after deciding being a plural family doesn’t work? Likewise, how will Kody and Christine continue to co-parent?
With the introduction of David Woolley and Christine Brown’s confirmed engagement, fans wonder if David and Kody have had any interactions. Did TLC film Kody’s reaction to Christine getting a boyfriend and then her getting engaged?
Likewise, fans also want to know what Christine and Janelle’s friendship looks like after leaving Kody. Moreover, fans wonder how that friendship may have changed after Christine got a boyfriend. After all, there have been rumors suggesting the two aren’t that close anymore. And, there have been rumors suggesting Janelle doesn’t even like David.
The series has a bright future with TLC
For now, the network doesn’t see any signs of slowing down or stopping the production of Sister Wives. So, there is no real need for a spin-off. From day one, the production team and network promised to tell the family’s real story. Now, the series is just going to show how this family navigates and moves forward after falling apart.

I’m bummed that this garbage series is continuing. These people do not deserve this glorification of their lives. None.
I’m interested in what adventure is next for the wives & how long Robin can stand him.
I will mo longer watching this show since it has been a lie and these people have made millions off these lies. When TLC decides to put on shows that are informative and somewhat real I will watch it then. Kody and Robin dont deserve all this money for being sleezy people.
