Mike Wolfe celebrates Jersey Jon’s birthday

On Saturday, April 15, Mike Wolfe took to his Instagram account to celebrate Jersey Jon’s birthday. The American Pickers cast member, whose real name is Jon Szalay, turned 60. He posted a clip of Jon on his Instagram Stories. Jon sat at an outdoor restaurant with a big smile on his face.

He sat in front of a desert that had a sparkler on it. Mike Wolfe captioned the shot: “@jsrestore Turns 60! In West Virginia.” He followed up with another clip of Jon receiving a white rose from the server. He also held a book in his hand.

It looks like Mike Wolfe took Jon out for his birthday dinner with the crew. In the clips, people shouted “Happy 60th!” They admitted that he looked good for his age. The crew encouraged Jon to blow out the candles.

He only pretended to do that before opening up his presents. Jon was more curious about what he got. At one point, he got a little too close to his sparkler. His friends told him to “watch out for the book” since it could light on fire.

Jon grabbed his book and held it to his chest. He explained that it was a “generous gift” from his friend Mike Wolfe. Jon’s friends encouraged him to blow out the candles safely once again. They wanted to make sure that he got his birthday wish.

American Pickers fans want Frank Fritz back

However, not all fans care about Mike Wolfe’s birthday post. They still want Frank Fritz back on the show. Some of them have been begging him to bring the former cast member back. It has affected the show’s ratings.

Unfortunately, Frank won’t be returning to the History Channel series anytime soon. He last appeared on a March 2020 episode before his firing. Frank was recovering from back surgery during that time. In July 2022, he suffered a massive stroke and ended up in a nursing home.

Frank was also put under a financial conservatorship during that time. In the meantime, fans aren’t liking the new season of American Pickers with Mike Wolfe’s brother Robbie. This led to a steep decline in the ratings. Interest in the new season grew earlier this year, but it plunged week by week.
