Fire Reported At Josh Duggar’s Prison Amid Other Safety Issues
A fire has been reported at Josh Duggar’s prison amid other ongoing safety issues. The former 19 Kids & Counting star is currently serving a 12-and-a-half-year sentence in Seagoville, Texas. Where is Josh Duggar serving his sentence?
Josh is currently behind bars at FCI Seagoville. The former reality TV star was found guilty of child pornography charges and sentenced to 12-and-a-half years behind bars.
He and his wife Anna Duggar share seven kids, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella, and Madyson. Currently, she appears to be living in Arkansas near or with her in-laws, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She has reportedly taken many trips to visit her husband in Texas.
However, Josh Duggar did end up in the special housing unit due to a phone issue. He’s reportedly since been released from the SHU.
Due to Josh being behind bars, not too many details are revealed about him these days. But on occasion, information comes out from within the prison.

Now, after the news about Josh having a phone behind bars went public, there has reportedly been an electrical fire at FCI Seagoville. The Sun heard from a prison source, who offered insight into the situation. The source stated:
“There was an electrical fire in the recreational room last week. Nobody was hurt. They don’t know what caused it. The guards have shut down the room and no one is allowed in until it is inspected.”
Even when there has been cold weather, the prison continues to be without electricity, heat, and hot water for “days at a time.”
The source also shared more information about Josh Duggar’s prison conditions, noting that “They’ve been through six generators in the past six weeks because they keep burning them out instead of just fixing the electricity.”
