Wait, did Josh Duggar’s wife Anna take their kids and leave the country? New details seem to suggest that the former TLC star is out of the United States now while her husband continues serving his prison sentence. So, what’s going on with Anna? Where is she now? Anna Duggar keeps quiet online.
Several months ago, Anna deactivated her Instagram page. Before that, she rarely shared updates, likely due to all of the negative attention amid Josh’s child pornography arrest and conviction. Without Anna on social media, there have been almost no updates about her and her seven kids. But now, while Josh is serving a 12-year sentence in Texas, several clues surfaced online that seem to suggest his wife and kids may be out of the country.
Did Josh Duggar’s wife & kids leave the country?
On Instagram on Wednesday, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball shared a couple of posts. They feature photos of the Duggars in Israel. Josh Duggar’s eldest daughter, Mackynzie, was photographed as you can see below.

The insider revealed to Katie Joy that the following Duggars were spotted:
- Jim Bob
- Josiah & Lauren and their 2 kids
- Jed & Katey and Truett
- Jana
- Jason
- James
- Jackson
- Johannah
- Jennifer
- Jordyn
- Josie
- Mackynzie
- Tyler
Katie Joy added, “They mentioned there were a few Duggars they couldn’t recognize, kids, which they believed were Anna & Josh’s kids.” However, those kids have not been photographed, so it’s unclear if they are all on the trip. For now, only Mackynzie has been shown in pictures with her grandpa, aunts, and uncles.
At this point, Anna has not been pictured in the few photos posted online. However, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball argues that Anna is likely in Israel with the rest of the family. After all, several of her kids were reportedly spotted. Anna probably wouldn’t have left all of her kids in Jim Bob Duggar’s care.
James Duggar has been filming YouTube videos as he travels, so he may release footage that reveals whether Anna truly left the country with the seven kids.

The Duggars are human, plain and simple. They are not perfect nor do they claim to be. They have made mistakes just like the rest of us. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn’t the Bible say that God is the one who will judge them? We aren’t the ones to judge. Why can we not let them live their lives and make their own mistakes just as we do. If you don’t like them, stop watching and reading about them. Yes, Josh did wrong and he is paying for it. His family is suffering for it also. Why can’t we all just pray for them instead of trying to pile on the insults? I love them all and enjoy keeping up with their lives. I almost feel as if they are my friends. please, people, pray for each of them.
The Duggars knowingly let a pedophile loose on their own daughters and fought to keep him home where he could victimize his own children. The are pigs.
That’s the issue…they are fake and liars. The portrayed themselves in a very different light and karma finally caught up
Josh is in jail, that’s all that matters. She needs to feel she has a safe place to raise those kids without the scrutiny and hounding from the press.

I loved watching the Duggars when they were on T.V. And I agree with you.Josh messed up. So did his parents by trying to excuse him. He violated his sisters and I am proud of them for standing up for their rights. So now Josh is in prison for a very long time. But I thinkJimbob should be along side him for not protecting his daughters.
