Lately, the Duggars haven’t posted much on social media. It’s unclear why they’ve kept quiet, but many believe it’s due to Josh Duggar’s arrest and conviction on child pornography charges. Others wonder if Jinger Vuolo’s book release has prolonged their silence.
Despite Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar deciding not to post on social media, they have been spotted in public, so photos of them are circulating online. The newest photos show that they have packed up and fled the U.S.

As TV Shows Ace reported, Jim Bob and Michelle, as well as several of their kids, were spotted on a flight to Israel. Jim Bob reportedly escorted his wife to the bathroom and stood guard by the door each time she had to use it on their flight. Once they arrived in Israel, Michelle was recently spotted for the first time in months. You can see the photo below.

As of now, the Duggar family’s Instagram page hasn’t shared any details about their trip, but they haven’t been too active online lately. They have promoted some of James Duggar’s travel vlogs, however. Maybe in the future, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar will discuss this trip publicly. For now, they’re keeping pretty quiet.

Why did the Duggars leave the country?
It’s unclear why the Duggars are currently in Israel. In one of her posts, Katie Joy speculated that it could have something to do with Jinger Vuolo’s book. She said that Jim Bob Duggar and his family might be trying to avoid the negative press following the release of his daughter’s memoir. Though Jinger has stated that it isn’t a tell-all, it does share many details about her upbringing, and some people believe that Jim Bob and Michelle may not be happy about this.
Other fans and critics have teased that Jim Bob is trying to run away from his problems. As fans know, his eldest son, Josh Duggar, is behind bars on child pornography charges.
Hopefully, more details will eventually surface, revealing what’s going on with Jim Bob and his family in Israel.
