‘Bachelor’ Zach Shallcross Shares Devastating Charity Breakup
The Bachelor Zach Shallcross sent home fan favorite Charity Lawson on Monday night. The breakup came following her hometown date. Fans have seen Zach get emotional with everyone he sent home. Last night was even worse. Sending Charity away was the hardest breakup yet for Zach. Keep reading to find out what he had to say.
Zach Shallcross talks sending Charity home
Entertainment Tonight caught up with Zach Shallcross to ask him his thoughts on sending Charity Lawson home. Zach noted how their date was amazing. Her family was great and overall a fantastic day. They even went line dancing and he went home with nothing but happy thoughts. Zach says the day made him smile a lot.
Zach and Charity have appeared to be really into each other from the beginning. She even confessed to him after her hometown date that she was falling in love with him. He appeared to like that and it seemed he felt the same.
However, things changed and he decided Charity was not his future wife.
The day of the rose ceremony was tough for Zach. He noted feeling sick to his stomach all day. He didn’t know what he was going to do at first and how he was going to do it. Zach has made it clear he does not like hurting people and hurting someone that made it so far in the process was going to be even worse.
Ultimately Zach decided to follow his gut and intuition and say goodbye to Charity. Both cried after the rose ceremony but Zach still feels confident he made the right decision.
The other women
Zach has had nothing but positive things to say about all the women in his season. Everyone has applauded his final four as one of the best in franchise history. He has strong connections with all of the final three women.
He has described Ariel as mysterious and has loved getting to know her. Gabi was described as having a quirky and goofy personality that Zach also found appealing. As for Kaity, Zach said she kind and compassionate which is exactly something he wants in a partner.
The drama isn’t over yet and Zach still has a few weeks until the winner is revealed. Host Jesse Palmer has hinted at a dramatic conclusion to Zach’s season. He said, “Everything’s about to turn onto its head. We’re going to be involved in a situation that I don’t think we’ve ever had on the show before. This is not what Zach had planned and he is going to have to dig deep to try to pull himself out of this. This is going to be more dramatic and more emotional by leaps and bounds versus anything that we’ve seen this year.”
