‘Below Deck’: Who’s Alissa Humber’s Replacement?
Below Deck fans want to know more about Alissa Humber’s replacement. Captain Sandy Yawn fired the second stew on Monday’s episode. She claimed that the reason was “insubordinate” behavior. Captain Sandy didn’t like it when Alissa referred to her as just “Sandy.” She found her behavior “intolerable” and fired her the next day.
This season is going to get more interesting even with Alissa and Camille gone. The next stew that’s joining St. David is Leigh Ann Smith. Apparently, deckhand Ben Willoughby knows her and dated her in the past. Keep on reading to learn more.
Who is Leigh Ann Smith?
According to her Instagram bio, Leigh Ann Smith is from Cape Town. The Below Deck newbie describes herself as a “professional dreamer.” She loves to work and travel around the world. She loves to post in acid-wash jeans and a crop top. Leigh Ann also drives a motorbike.
In the next episode of Below Deck, Captain Sandy Yawn explains the reason why she hired Leigh Ann. She loved her previous experience as a chief stew. Fans immediately got flashbacks to Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5 when she infamously fired Hannah Ferrier.
Christine “Bugsy” Drake was demoted to chief stew because of her previous credentials as a chief stew. Fans think it’s another setup for Captain Sandy since she’s had her digs about Fraser Olender all season. He hasn’t been a strong chief stew in his first charter season. Captain Sandy feels the same way, but she decided to give him another chance.
Leigh Ann is not someone to mess around with. She has many tattoos all over her body. The blonde beauty might find something in common with stew Hayley De Sola Pinto. Fans wonder how she knows Ben and if the two have a past. It looks like he might cheat on former stew Camille Lamb. The two struck up a romance this past season.
When is she coming to Below Deck Season 10?
Below Deck fans are waiting for Leigh Ann’s debut. She should come as soon as next week. The preview episode teased the new stew’s walk to the boat. Captain Lee Robach will also return after his health scare. He’s coming back to an almost entirely different crew.
He already admitted on social media that he didn’t like that Captain Sandy fired Camille without his permission. It’s any wonder what he’ll think of the latest firing. The rest of the season is sure to deliver when it comes to drama. It’ll be interesting to see how well Leigh Ann works with Captain Lee and the rest of the crew.
