Hoda Kotb Explores New Snowy Project Away From ‘Today’ Show
Today show host Hoda Kotb went missing from Studio 1A as she explored a new snowy project. However, she wasn’t alone in this new project away from the morning show. Hoda Kotb Missed The Today Show For Two Days
On Wednesday, the Today show aired a pre-taped episode of Hoda And Jenna confirming that the duo was already out of the country for their new project. The 3rd Hour host Sheinelle Jones took on double duty and subbed for Hoda on both Wednesday and Thursday sharing the desk with Craig Melvin and Savannah Guthrie.

As for Hoda, she and Jenna traveled to Quebec, Canada, to film their show Today With Hoda And Jenna for two days. The duo was in the city for the 69th annual edition of The Quebec Winter Carnival that took place on Wednesday and Thursday. As per The Sun, the hosts returned to their show on Friday after a fun time exploring the snow and even had an accident as they tried to learn snowshoeing.

Making the best out of their free time in Canada, both Hoda and Jenna played in the show and took a big fall on the icy Quebec Mountain. In the boomerang clip posted on her Instagram account, the Today host dragged Jenna down as she fell in the snow. The video showed Jenna almost dropping to the ground as some men tried to hold Hoda upright.

Hoda captioned the clip, “Things are going well @JennaBHager.”
Apart from Hoda, Jenna too shared some snaps and pictures from their skiing excursions in Quebec on her Instagram Stories. She titled the post, “A series of shame.”

Talking about her time in Quebec, Hoda Kotb said, “We are energized and revitalized. I didn’t know how my body was going to react but we have energy and juice, we snowshoed, we tobogganed, we were in an ice castle.”
She also talked about the beauty of the city and said, “Quebec City’s just got beautiful cobblestone streets, the kindest people. It may be freezing but I have to tell you, when I saw people jogging and saying good morning I was like, this city has got it, and it’s steeped in history. I felt like I was in school again, learning.”

Although snowshoeing resulted in a few falls in the snow, the highlight for the duo was tobogganing. Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager raced on their toboggans that went over 60km/h. However, Hoda became the ultimate winner.
