Is Alison Sweeney Filming New Hallmark Mystery Movie?

Alison Sweeney Has News That Should Thrill Sleuthers
Recently, Alison Sweeney did a lot of promotion for the latest Wedding Veil trilogy. Therefore it is no surprise that there were a few questions asked about the future of her two mystery series.
Sleuthers know that Sweeney stars in two series. They are Hannah Swensen, the new name for the Murder She Baked series, as well as the Chronicles Mysteries. Both are for Hallmark. However, it sounds like she is filming a mystery movie in Vancouver right now.
TV Insider asked Sweeney whether fans will be “getting any more mysteries.” Her response was very positive. “Yes, you will. I can’t give away too much information, but I am working on something right now.”
Next, they asked which series it was for. Her response was more cryptic. “I cannot. When I have permission, I will tell you. I’m so excited.”
Could Alison Sweeney Star In New Hallmark Mystery Series?
This is not the first time that Alison Sweeney was cryptic about working on a Hallmark Signature Mystery series. Back in October, TV Shows Ace interviewed the Days Of Our Lives star about her movies. In addition, we asked about making a future mystery movie for one of her two series. Alison really brightened up when we discussed that possibility.
I have to tell you, if it is at all possible, I would love to make something like that happen. I love doing the mysteries. So, I am always open to that.
In addition, we asked her about possibly working with writer Melissa Salmons again for a whole new mystery series. She shared an almost nervous laugh when she stated, “Maybe we will…maybe we…[laughs].
Salmons created The Chronicles Mysteries specifically for Sweeney. Sweeney, a fan of true-crime podcasts like Serial wanted to be part of a series that had that same sort of vibe. When we pointed out how we love the mystery series, she admitted she was a Sleuther too, by saying, “They are my favorite.”
Hallmark Is Ramping Up Mysteries Again
Unfortunately, 2022 was a very sparse year for Hallmark mysteries. However, 2023 looks far more promising. They kicked off the year with Family History Mysteries with Janel Parrish and Niall Matter. In February, it is Nikki DeLoach and Andrew W. Walker in The Curious Caterer: Grilling Season.
There are rumors about another Cut, Color, Murder, starring Julie Gonzalo and Ryan McPartlin, as well as another Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths with Rhiannon Fish and Hunter King. Another Alison Sweeney mystery, whether new or old, will take the cake.

Is there a book for Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swenson Mystery. The movie came out sometime on 2021.
