Karen Berger (All Of My Heart, Romance In Style) wrote the script, with Sir Ron Oliver (Christmas At The Plaza, Love In The Limelight) directing.

This series is inspired by Lori Wilde’s novel There Goes The Bride. The characters are inspired by Judith Berg (Christmas Next Door, All Summer Long), and Sandra Berg (A Christmas Treasure, A Little Daytime Drama).

What Is The Wedding Veil Journey About?

According to the Hallmark synopsis, Tracey (Sweeney) and Nick (Webster) are now so career-driven that they don’t have time for each other.

Tracy has moved up in her job and is now head of the auction house. In addition, Nick’s new fusion restaurant is a huge success. Best of all, he is looking to expand it into a franchise.

But, what about their relationship? They decide to do something by finally going on a honeymoon. After some discussion, they are going to Greece!

However, on this trip, they experience a travel delay and there are no hotel rooms. Therefore, they wind up staying on a secluded island at a small inn run by Tess (Geronikolou), a local resident, and her brother Xander (Nicolaou).

Xander does more bungling than help. Moreover, he is fumbling in the kitchen, substituting for the chef. Therefore, once Nick finds out, he steps into the kitchen to help the struggling Xander.

Meanwhile, Tracy meets Leo (Grant). The youngster is artistic and charming, but he often gets himself into scraps.

Tracy cannot shake the feeling that Leo needs her help but finds her interventions unwelcomed by the school’s headmaster (Karras). Soon Tracy encounters a mystery when elegant Lady Dalton (Asher) and her grandson Colin (Banks) check-in. Inexplicably, the veil – which Tracy had brought along to give to Nick’s sister – keeps winding up in Colin’s room. With sparks flying between Colin and Tessa, even skeptical Tracy may finally have to admit there’s something to the veil’s legend. As they spend time on the island, Tracy and Nick may also find that, though their honeymoon isn’t exactly what they had pictured, it might just be exactly what they need.
