Meteorologist returns to GMA program

On Monday, January 23, Ginger Zee returned to Good Morning America. She recovered from the infection. Ginger was her chipper self in a yellow sweater, which she wore over a black top and with a black-and-white skirt. Fans were happy to see her back on the broadcast. Many of them took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

  • “Good to see you back on TV. Hope you feel better. Looking great as always!”
  • “Welcome back, hope you’re feeling better!”
  • “Sweet Ginger, thank goodness you are feeling better and back to work. I need my Ginger in the morning!”

She responded to one of the users, writing: “Thank you! Feeling so much better.” Ginger previously shared on her Instagram that she wasn’t feeling well. The co-anchor said that it was “no joke” since she “hadn’t moved from the bed.” Ginger filmed herself makeup-free in her lounge clothes from her bed.’

Sam Champion filled in for Ginger Zee onGMAduring her absence. Lee Goldberg filled in for her over at ABC World News. She expressed her gratitude to her co-anchors for taking over her during this time. The television host also thanked her husband Ben Aaron and his mother, Janis Yudelson Salerno, for caring for their sons.

Ginger Zee battles fraudulent Twitter accounts

Ginger Zee has been dealing with fraudulent accounts on Twitter. One fan called to her attention an account that was created to scam others. Scammers typically use celebrity’s image and branding to get others to follow them and send them money.

“As honored as I would be for Ginger Zee to follow me, the one in the screenshot isn’t her,” the user wrote. “Obviously. Reported and blocked. We don’t play that.”

Ginger Zee noted that she also reported and blocked the fake account as well. She brought the accounts to the attention of her fans and followers. The DWTS alum added: “So many fakes — I’m gonna go report and block if you all could too.”
