Lindsie Chrisley took it to church. The Chrisley Knows Best alum shared a strong message amid her parents’ first day in prison. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Todd and Julie Chrisley surrendered as they went to separate prisons. The rest of their family are on their own. Find out how Lindsie is coping during this difficult time.
Todd Chrisley’s daughter stays strong in her faith
On Tuesday, January 17, the same day that Todd and Julie went to prison, Lindsey Chrisley shared a powerful message on her Instagram Stories. She reposted a TikTok video from Hillsong Worship. In the middle of worship, they get up on stage and sing a song.
Lindsey wrote a verse across the clip. It reads: “The Lord is greater than the saints you face. — 1 John 4:4.” The crowd is moved by the moving message as they sing along with the performers on the stage. Obviously, this particular song spoke to her during this tough time.
She just reconnected with her family last year. Now, she’s losing them again. Lindsie Chrisley appeared on the Chrisley Confessions podcast, in which they talked about their reunion. They addressed the events which led up to their estranged relationship and shot down the rumors about their family.
They were in the middle of an ongoing court case, which found them guilty of bank and wire fraud among other things. Todd and Julie denied the charges and tried to appeal the conviction, which a judge denied.
Lindsie Chrisley opens up about her struggles
On Wednesday morning, January 18, Lindsie Chrisley returned to her Instagram Stories. She admits that she’s been struggling ever since they went to prison. The former reality star shared a black-and-white photo of herself in bed. The television personality wore a Bob Marley T-shirt.
Lindsie had a sad look on her face. She wiped her eye as she looked tired and downcast. In her Instagram Story, she shared another worship song. Lindsie Chrisley captioned the post: “Enduring loss in and of itself does not make us wiser — but how you choose to move through your darkest days will undoubtedly change your life forever.”
The Southern star lost her family quickly. Lindsie was so happy to reconnect with Todd, Julie, and Savannah. Now, she’s grieving the loss of them once again. It was obvious that she was feeling the effects of losing them in a short amount of time.
She’s probably wishing that she could get more time back with them. Regardless, Lindsie Chrisley continues to listen to worship music as she stays true to her faith.
