TLC viewers are happy to see that 1000-Lb Best Friends is back for another season, but not everyone is quite so happy with Meghan Crumpler. Many viewers have been following her story since she appeared on Too Large. But these days, some fans are growing to detest Meghan.
As her weight loss journey continues, some think Meghan’s jealousy is getting in the way of her progress. After all, Vannessa Crumpler has made phenomenal progress on her own journey. Is it possible that her progress fuels Meghan’s anger?
Fans are getting tired of Meghan Crumpler’s onscreen outbursts
Weight loss journeys are often long, difficult, and full of emotional highs and lows. Many 1000-Lb Best Friends fans know that when they tune in. However, a few think that Meghan Crumpler’s bad attitude has gone on long enough. She’s been very combative with Dr. Procter so far and viewers don’t care for it.
One Redditor in particular had enough of Meghan’s outbursts and uploaded a very pointed image to the platform.
“Your triggers are your responsibility,” the image reads. “It isn’t the world’s obligation to tiptoe around you.”
Almost immediately, other Reddit users agreed with the sentiment.
“Oh man, I’m watching the latest episode right now and she’s pissing me off. I came to Reddit to see if I was overreacting or if other people were getting the vibe,” another Redditor responded in the comments. “I completely empathize with being triggered; I suffer from PTSD and sometimes it hits like a wall. However, in her case, I think someone explained what a ‘trigger’ was and now she’s throwing it around every time she’s inconvenienced. Also, I think she seeks out a reason to explode and pounces. An addiction to chaos, if you will. I’ve known many people with this mindset; I hope she explores that in therapy some day.”

1000-Lb Best Friends Season 2 was filmed last year, so it’s entirely possible that Meghan did turn over a new leaf. Over the last few weeks, she’s shared many uplifting posts and detailed how she really was focused on her goals in 2023. She even decided to make a fun change and got a new piercing.
As the season continues, fans sincerely hope that Meghan Crumpler will change her ways and win back her fanbase.
