Kody Brown’s Real Motives Exposed Wants TLC To Shut Family Up
In a three-hour, tell-all interview, Paedon Brown spilled massive tea on his family (including his father Kody Brown). According to Paedon, his father thought he could use the family’s contracts with TLC to gag them from humiliating or disrespecting him via any sort of public statement. How exactly did Kody Brown want to use the family’s contracts with TLC for his own personal gain? And, was he successful in doing so? Keep reading for the details.
Kody Brown wanted TLC to gag family from speaking about him
As Sister Wives fans know, Paedon Brown sat down with YouTuber John Yates for a three-hour, tell-all interview about his life and his family. In previous interviews over the past year or two, fans felt as though Paedon Brown was walking on eggshells in regard to what he was and wasn’t allowed to talk about. For example, previously, discussing Meri Brown was completely “off limits.” During this interview with John Yates, Paedon seemed pretty open to spilling some massive tea on Meri.
During his conversation with John Yates, Paedon reveals an “out of the blue” conversation he had with his father Kody on the phone. He explained that he hadn’t spoken to his father for months when he seemingly called him for no reason. Paedon added they were on the phone for an hour and it was a great conversation. At the time, Paedon felt like he was getting his father back. Described the moment as “wonderful.”
During a conversation later with his mother, Paedon learned his conversation wasn’t so random or spontaneous. Turns out, his father was trying to talk TLC into adding gags to the contract to prevent Kody’s family from dissing him on any public platform.
Apparently he was trying to convince the … high-ups [at] TLC and [was] trying to discuss with them [and] trying to put it in our contracts that we are not allowed to say anything negative about him on our platforms. And he’s fighting with [my] mom about it because [my] mom is saying, ‘You can’t control our children that way.’ He’s trying to say, ‘Your children can’t say anything bad about me.'”
Paedon Brown further explained that his mother Christine became extremely defensive of her children. And, they got in a pretty big fight because she didn’t want him trying to control his children in that manner.
His father didn’t want his children to ‘hurt his image’
Kody Brown reportedly pushed the network for this gag order because he was worried about his children “hurting his image.” Fortunately, neither Christine nor the network supported what Kody wanted.
Paedon continued to explain: “TLC was like, ‘I don’t think we should do that. And my mom was fighting. My mom was like, ‘No, you’re not allowed to tell our children what they can and can’t say about you. You have to earn their love back.’ … He doesn’t want us talking negatively about him online.”
Paedon went on to suspect that Kody likely called his other children he shared with Christine after he lost the battle to get the gag order forced by the network.
Kody Brown’s concluded: “He just happens to call us, and I realized he didn’t call me because he wanted to talk to me. He called me because he doesn’t want me talking negatively.”

it’s sad to see the family fight and separate.. I lost my wife after 33years of marriage..I could never talk to her or my kids like that..I really don’t understand how kody can talk bad about his wife’s and kids like that.. everyone has the right to speak as they like.. it’s plane to see that Kody is not as confident and as understanding like he wants us to believe.. The woman did right for them selfs when they seen that Kody really was in it for him self..
