‘Alaskan Bush People’ Fans Blast Bear Brown For Hypocrisy
Bear Brown is trying to expand his reach on social media. While he once sporadically posted on Instagram, he is now moving full speed ahead. On top of Instagram, he has now joined TikTok. While his first post there didn’t go as planned, he has now begun a more casual format, talking to fans.
However, this isn’t going well for him in some areas. One of his recent posts was a video of him explaining how important family is for Alaskan Bush People and the Brown siblings. That caused a lot of fans to blast him for being a hypocrite.
Bear Brown expresses the importance of family on Alaskan Bush People
In Bear’s first post on TikTok, things didn’t go well. It was a video that showed a giant fire blazing. Then, Bear raced toward the fire and leaped through it. He was showing how extreme he was, which is his basic life motto. It is also on the new t-shirts Bear is selling to Alaskan Bush People fans. However, for TikTok, Bear was too dangerous, and they banned the video so kids wouldn’t emulate him.
He started out the video by saying the one thing he loves about Alaskan Bush People is the “family dynamic.” Bear then said the show is about a “family coming together through adversity, supporting each other in others times of need.” Bear continued by saying that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. He even said he has made mistakes and has done things he wishes he could take back. He said his ego often gets in the way and he tries to be better for it.
However, there are many things that Alaskan Bush People fans have seen over the years that make them doubt Bear’s comments. This includes the family seemingly shutting out Matt Brown after his addiction issues to Bear’s own legal troubles with wife Raiven. Fans were not letting Bear off easily after this video.

Fans drag Bear Brown for bring a hypocrite
While most people on the TikTok video were kind, and there were no problems there, when Bear shared it to Instagram, things went off the rails. “Love your show and you all but would plead that you embrace these words that you have just spoken and bring back your stray brother and continue as a united, formidable and ever forgiving family once again,” one fan wrote.
Bear responded harshly to that one and said that Matt Brown doesn’t want to be part of the family anymore. This goes against what Matt previously said about the family not accepting that he has changed. It is a “he said/he said” situation here, but the truth probably lies in the middle.
Luckily for Bear, he has a private Instagram account and can block anyone who criticizes him, which limits too much of negativity from his account. It also opened up the post for many people to stand up for him in this debate, with many telling people that, if it isn’t on the show, it is no one’s business.
