Prince Harry Goes Berserk Over His Netflix Docuseries Premiere
Prince Harry doesn’t seem very excited about his Netflix docuseries’ premiere. The Duke Of Sussex might have some ongoing struggles with the series producers regarding when is the right time for the series to hit the streamer. The 38-year-old has been frantically asking for the project to be delayed until the next year. However, Netflix allegedly wishes to drop the series next month. Prince Harry Wishes The Docuseries To Premiere Next Year
Harry’s team has been asking Netflix to postpone the production and air it only after Christmas. This comes after insiders claimed that Harry and his wife Meghan are seeking some extensive cuts to the series and are currently at odds with the makers. Harry’s memoir Spare was to be published alongside the show’s premiere on the streaming platform.

However, publishers have agreed to delay the book’s release until January 10 after he pointed out the need to incorporate last-minute changes. A source close to the production team said, “Harry simply does not want it coming out before Christmas.”
Prince Harry And Meghan Have A $113 Million Deal With Netflix
As reported by The Sun, Netflix initially resisted the couple’s attempt to push back the series’ release date. However, it is unknown if a final decision has been made on the premiere date of the docuseries. The Sussexes have a $113 Million TV deal with Netflix for the docuseries. A big portion of the upcoming Netflix series was filmed before the death of the Late Queen Elizabeth II. However, cameras weren’t allowed to film the funeral at the Windsor estate.

Details of the series are currently unknown. However, Meghan described it as a rom-com and a love story.
Netflix Maintains That The Sussexes’ Docuseries Doesn’t Exist
However, there have been several conflicting stories about the Sussexes’ docuseries regarding the premiere date. Back in October, it was reported that the backlash received by Netflix’s The Crown might have delayed the series until next year. A source said, “They’re rattled at Netflix, and they blinked first and decided to postpone the documentary.”

Later on, it was reported by another trusted insider that the series was going to drop in December. They said, “as far as I am aware, the docuseries is still going ahead later this year.”
Yet, Netflix has been maintaining that they never confirmed that a docuseries even exists. Additionally, there have been persistent reports from the team behind the series that Meghan and Harry wish to edit the show and were having second thoughts about how the story pans out on their project. They want to tone down everything to avoid any possible backlash from the Royals or the viewers.
