McKayla Adkins Talks Near Death Experience & New Career
Unexpected alum McKayla Adkins has always been very open about her life. She shared that she suffered from postpartum depression. Additionally, she took her followers along when she got her tubes removed. She started with the anesthesia and then revealed that she had been sterilized as three kids were enough. Now, she is opening up about something tragic and a complete life change. Read on for more details.
McKayla Adkins Almost Dies & Changes Her Life
The former reality star has used social media as a platform for some time now. However, those who follow her on Instagram may have noticed that her last post was on September 28th. Then, she just posted again for the first time again yesterday. According to Starcasm, McKayla has been quite busy with her life. Obviously, she took a break from social media plus deleted her TikTok. Yet, she also shared that she was in a car wreck. It was so bad that it nearly took her life. She shared the photos of her destroyed car in her Instagram story.
The front of the car, a Honda, is completely smashed in. She did not give any details if any of her children were with her at the time but it is great to see that she is okay. On the positive side of things, McKayla also added that she went to bartending school. Though she had been making money via OnlyFans, she seems to have found another profession she loves. To add to that, she was able to get a bartending job at a place she really likes. More so, she added in other goals she has for her future.

McKayla Adkins is thriving in her new career but that does not mean she is stopping any time soon. She has had a lot of ups and downs in her life. When she initially got pregnant and appeared on Unexpected, she did not know what to expect. She tried to make it work with her then-boyfriend but they struggled. In a twist, after welcoming their first child, she ended up pregnant again. Though they tried living together and talked about marriage, it fell apart. Fortunately, McKayla found love with a man named Ethan. They became engaged, found out that they were expecting, and got married.
Sadly, she lost the baby but they found out they were going to have their rainbow baby who arrived in April of this year. As aforementioned, McKayla struggled with PPD but found newfound happiness in her new career as a bartender. However, she has more goals to achieve. She wants to master five skills and some she is thinking about include: esthetician and welding. Looks like things are finally turning around for her.
