Kevin Wendt Reveals Wedding Day In Touching Post
October is a busy month for Bachelor Nation alums getting engaged and getting married. Next up are fan favorites Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt. Earlier this year, they had shared they would be finally tying the knot in October in Florida.
Kevin Wendt announced wedding to Astrid Loch
Kevin Wendt went to Instagram to share an incredibly sweet post. He shared a reel of some of the magical moments they have shared together. Besides that, the caption was just as sweet and sentimental as the video.
He started the caption by saying, “Hey, is that show you went on fake?” Kevin continued with a list of all their major milestones in answering the question. He also mentioned that tomorrow, October 28, is their wedding day.
Kevin said, “Answer… tomorrow is our wedding day💛 Thanks to all of you for following along our story.” He then went on to list their milestones saying,
– 4ish +years
– 50+ flights / adventures
– 6 tv shows filmed
– 1 country move 🇺🇸 🇨🇦
– 2 covid postponed weddings
– 2 rescued poodles
– 3 houses/ renovations
– 1 perfect baby boy
– 2 embryos in the freezer
– &
– Way too many laughs to count
Kevin wrapped up his sentimental post by saying, “Let’s spend forever building this family and this life’s resume hun. Us against the world.”
A look back at their relationship
The duo met on Bachelor in Paradise in 2018. They didn’t leave the beach together but reconnected a short time after. In 2019 Kevin proposed and she happily said yes.
Covid hit and forced the couple to postpone their wedding not once but twice. So, they moved forward with starting their family a little early. Astrid got pregnant via IVF. The two welcomed their son in November 2021.
At the time Kevin said, “My son. My [world]. August William Wendt (his friends call him Auggy) 11/20/21 – 7.5lbs. Super hero mama and beautiful baby boy both doing great. Thanks for all of the kind messages and well wishes to our growing family. We haven’t stopped smiling in 3 day.”
Now, Auggie will get to be a part of their wedding day.
Bachelor Nation flocked to his post to offer their congrats. Blake Moynes said, “Heck of a list 👏”
Blake Horstmann said, “Can’t wait guys!” Others commented as well saying they hoped their special day is everything they have wanted and more.
