Christine & Janelle Brown Push Kody Back As Robyn Watches
Christine and Janelle Brown have just about had enough of Kody’s rules and regulations. In a recent episode of Sister Wives, fans saw the women band together and start to push back against the family patriarch. They just aren’t going to put up with him any longer.
After 17 seasons, fans also know that Kody hates feeling emasculated and when his wives go against his wishes. So how will he handle this act of rebellion?

Sister Wives Season 17 has three episodes out at the moment. During the most recent episode, viewers had a chance to watch the adults discuss the possibility of sending the kids back to school once spring break ends. Christine says that Ysabel really wants to return to school, but Kody doesn’t like that idea. He says Robyn’s kids are choosing to stay home and thinks Ysabel should do the same if she wants him to visit. Kody and Robyn maintain that Christine’s kids can’t see their father if they choose to go back to school.
At this point, Christine feels like she’s begging Kody to spend time with their kids. And she isn’t the only one angry with Kody for being an absentee dad. In the clip, Janelle even steps up and pushes back against the family patriarch.
Janelle stands up for her sister wife and says that if Kody wanted to see Ysabel, he would find a way. She suggests standing in the back yard, six feet apart so at least he can see Ysabel and talk to her. However, Kody just makes excuses. He says it’s cold outside and really inconvenient to do that.
In a confessional, Kody admits that he just isn’t that concerned with his adult children. He’s more interested in dedicating his time to the little kids, which mostly just means the kids he shares with Robyn.
Meri and Robyn are generally the first to defend Kody, but they don’t even speak up during the argument over Zoom. In their own confessionals, they both say they don’t necessarily agree with Kody here. They believe that all the kids need Kody, no matter how old they get.
The Brown family’s children are over Kody’s shenanigans too
Christine and Janelle Brown may be absolutely fed up with Kody right now, but they aren’t the only ones. Their kids are getting sick of him too. Janelle’s younger sons Gabe and Garrison have said they really aren’t interested in pursuing a relationship with their father any longer. They don’t like the way he treats their mother and they feel like he’s chosen Robyn’s family over everyone else.
