‘GMA’ Robin Roberts Gets Replaced, Where Is She?
By now, it has become a routine for GMA hosts to go M.I.A. for days. From George Stephanopoulos to Michael Strahan, every now and then fans find the hosts missing from the show. But in most cases, they return. Showcasing a similar pattern, Robin Roberts has also had a scanty appearance throughout this month. However, after an emotional day on the set, it seems like the GMA host has been replaced.

GMA Cecilia Replaces Robin Roberts On The Friday Episode
Robin’s absence from the ABC show has sparked concern among fans. She hosted the show from Monday to Wednesday this week and was not seen for the rest. On Thursday, Amy Robach subbed for the 61-year-old. Both Robin and George Stephanopoulos were missing from the show that day.

While George returned to his spot on Friday, Robin was nowhere to be seen. However, fans did see someone else as a replacement for the newscaster. Cecilia, who has been serving as a sub for several GMA hosts during their absence, took over Robin’s spot on the Friday show. As per The Sun, Michael Strahan was also present and took his usual seat behind the desk.
Robin Roberts Celebrates A Special Anniversary With Co-Hosts
GMA makers have been slammed time and again by fans for its ever-changing host line-up. On Wednesday, Robin and George were present in the studio to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of her lifesaving bone marrow transplant.

Also present in the studio were Lara Spencer and Michael. This precious lifesaving gift was given to her by her sister. Inspired by her struggles, Robin also spread the word for people to sign up and become a donor to help others in any way possible.
Robin Roberts Reveals The Real Reason For Her Absence
Although it isn’t confirmed whether Robin will return to the show anytime soon, the newscaster did reveal the reason for her absence. She took to her Instagram to reveal that she has been away from NYC and flown to LA for another project.
The 61-year-old captioned the post, “In LA to begin taping Season 2 of Turning The Tables for @disneyplus. My office in NYC reached out to let me know today we received our Emmy for Season 1! What timing! Wishing all a blessed weekend.”

Along with the caption was her Emmy award with the following engravings:

Robin was awarded for an Outstanding Informative Talk Show that airs on Disney+. Fans jumped in the comments section and congratulated the broadcast journalist for the upcoming season of Turning The Tables.
