Dancing With The Stars just isn’t the same without Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy. The 28-year-old dancer always comes up with unique routines and spectacular performances. But she’s expecting her first child with her husband Val Chmerkovskiy at the moment, so she opted to sit out this season.
She may not be part of the competition, but fans are still eager to keep up with Jenna. What has the dancer been up to while on maternity leave?

Jenna Johnson might be growing another human inside of her body right now, but that isn’t stopping her from looking absolutely fabulous. The mother-to-be looks like she’s been having an amazing time dressing up and going to various events. Fans noted that she always dresses to tastefully and knows how to look stylish while pregnant.
Who says maternity wear can’t be glamorous?
“We love a dump recap ✨” Jenna captioned her most recent photo dump. She uploaded several photos of herself at outings. And it appears that she’s been visiting Val often on the set of DWTS. There are several photos of the two being cozy with one another.
But let’s face it — the real surprise is that Jenna is rocking those leopard print stilettos while pregnant! She looks absolutely stunning.
“Jenna 😍😍😭😭 seeing that beautiful growing bump makes me emotional. You are stunning ❤️” her friend and DWTS castmate Lindsay Arnold wrote on the post.

The dancer comments on her husband’s Season 31 partnership
Jenna isn’t in the competition, but it is still Dancing With The Stars season after all. She’s eagerly cheering for her husband Val and his partner, The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey. It’s definitely a major change for Jenna to just watch instead of competing, but she said she doesn’t mind just being “Val’s wife” this year.
“I love her personality,” Jenna said about Gabby in an interview with Us Weekly. “I love her work ethic and I think their banter is gonna be hysterical ‘cause he’s suave and she just like real so I think it’s gonna be hysterical. I just know from their little progress of rehearsing already before the premiere that they are ready and she’s in it to win it.”
