‘DWTS’: Inside Jenna Johnson’s ADORABLE Baby Shower
Dancing With The Stars fans will really miss Jenna Johnson when the Season 31 premiere drops on September 19. However, the 28-year-old dancer has a very good reason for missing out this year. She and her husband Val Chmerkovskiy are expecting their first child together!
Jenna and Val are happy to announce that they are expecting a baby boy this January. Val will return to compete in the ballroom while Jenna plans to cheer him on from the sidelines.
In the meantime, Jenna has plenty to keep herself busy. She recently attended a baby shower hosted by her friends and family. The dancer couldn’t be happier and is really feeling the love. Keep reading to get the inside scoop.
Friends & family celebrate Jenna Johnson’s pregnancy
Jenna Johnson absolutely loves being a professional dancer. However, she’s always wanted to be a mother. Her wish is finally about to come true.
Over the holiday weekend, the dancer and her loved ones celebrated the pregnancy in her native state of Utah. Jenna wore a beautiful white dress with purple flowers to the party. Fans agree she looked absolutely stunning as she posed on the doorstep, cradling her baby bump.
The Season 26 champion didn’t upload many photos of the special day, but it’s clear she felt incredibly loved. In one photo, she unwraps a little hat for her son to wear.
“Baby Boy was showered with so much love today by our family and friends here in Utah!” Jenna captioned her Instagram post. “And yes… he got his first fedora. Definitely going to be matching with Daddy.”
Jenna’s fans flooded the comments section to congratulate her. Fans couldn’t deny that the 28-year-old absolutely glowed in the photos. DWTS Season 30 contestant Amanda Kloots wrote, “Omg so beautiful.”

The dancer’s wish comes true after many years
Jenna Johnson hasn’t revealed many details about her struggle to get pregnant, but she did hint that it was quite an ordeal. On Instagram, she uploaded a video of the moment she realized she actually was pregnant.
“The moment my whole world changed,” Jenna captioned it. “We had actually stopped trying to conceive for about 6 months to mentally/emotionally give ourselves a break… so the shock, disbelief, and sheer joy in this moment is a memory I will never forget 🤍”
DWTS Season 31 won’t be the same without Jenna, but Val Chmerkovskiy will be back. The full cast list comes out on Good Morning America this week, so don’t forget to set a timer.
