‘600-Lb. Life’: Dr. Now Checks In With Iconic Question
My 600-Lb. Life fans are very familiar with Dr. Now. Fans adore the bariatric surgeon and love his mannerisms.
Recently, Dr. Now made an Instagram post that posed one iconic question that all viewers have heard many times on the show. What did he say?

Long-time My 600-Lb. Life viewers know that some patients see dramatic success with Dr. Now’s program. But that’s not the case for everyone. Patients either seem to get along well with the surgeon or end up hating him by the end of the episode. One patient even went as far as to accuse his practice of failing to replace their “broken” scale.
But no matter how guests ultimately feel about Dr. Now, they all associate one phrase with him.
Whenever the surgeon enters an exam room, he always asks, “How y’all doing?” in his thick Iranian accent. Overtime, fans have really come to love the mix of Texan slang and Dr. Now’s accent. It’s really become part of the show’s charm. And now, it seems like fans might be able to get their own merchandise with the phrase on it.
“🩺How y’all doing?” the 77-year-old surgeon captioned his Instagram photo. In the image, he’s beaming from ear to ear and holding a mug with the iconic phrase on it.
“I’d love a mug like that! I admire you sooo much!!! ❤️❤️” one fan commented on the photo.
“Hey dr. Can’t wait to see the next season!!!” another fan wrote.

Fans want more details about the show’s 11th season
Ever since My 600-Lb. Life Season 10 ended, fans wanted more information about the possibility of Season 11. Now, it seems like viewers are getting the answers they’re really after.
Luckily, Dr. Now recently gave fans an update about the show’s future. On August 7, he uploaded a photo on Instagram confirming that new episodes from Season 11 would hit TLC soon. Right now, the network hasn’t confirmed an official air date. But now that Dr. Now has publically commented on the new season, it’s just a matter of time.
While fans wait for Season 11, they admit they would also like to see new episodes of Where Are They Now. Fans love catching new episodes of My 600-Lb. Life, but also want to hear from former patients too.
