Sneak Peek At ‘American Pickers’ Frank Fritz’s $155K Farmhouse
Popular for his work ethic, sense of humor, and eye for antiques, American Pickers alum Frank Fritz is adored by fans. However, ever since the reality star was fired from the A&E Network production, things haven’t been good for him. The 58-year-old is currently in the hospital seeking treatment for a stroke he suffered a few weeks back.
The news of his hospitalization was shared on Instagram by his co-host Mike Wolfe. This was preceded by the death of the reality star’s stepfather, Richard Zirbes, who left him out of his will.
Frank Fritz Has 90+ Classic Motorcycle Collection
Regardless, he has earned enough from his stint in American Pickers to get himself a humble farmhouse in Iowa worth $155,000. As reported by The Sun, the reality star bought his Iowa farmhouse on May 14, 2010, for $130,000. The modest 1,660 square-foot farmhouse sits on 0.79 acres of land & features one bathroom plus two bedrooms.

Apart from this, the farmhouse also boasts three garages, a basement, a shed, and a barn. As per the Scott County Assessor’s Office, the TV star had renovated the farmhouse from when he bought it. Later in 2013, the American Pickers star bought an adjacent property worth $25,000. The property is 0.34 acres of land.

Back in 2015, Frank also built a 3,240-square-foot warehouse on his property. The warehouse holds about 90 of the star’s classic motorcycles along with other antiques and toys he has purchased over the years.
American Pickers’ Frank Suffers A Near-Fatal Stroke
On July 14, Frank was hospitalized after he suffered a stroke. A friend found him on the floor of his Iowa farmhouse. The friend called 911 to inform the authorities of the situation and to seek help just before 11 am. During the call, he mentioned, “I just showed up at my friend’s house, and he was sprawled out on his floor. He can’t speak to me. He might be seizuring, I’m not sure.”
As reported earlier by TV Shows Ace, Frank’s former co-host, Mike, announced his ex-friend’s hospitalization on July 21.
He posted on Instagram a photo of his colleague and captioned it, “I have been very private in the past year in regards to Frank’s life and the journey he’s been on. There have been lots of opinions in regards to mine and Frank’s friendship and the show, but now is not the time to set the record straight.”

“Now is the time to pray for my friend. Frank has suffered a stroke and is in the hospital. Please keep him in your hearts and thoughts. Frank, I pray more than anything that you make it through this okay. I love you, buddy,” he added.
However, fans slammed Mike for being a fake friend and asking for prayers despite their long feud.
