‘Jeopardy!’ Drops Massive Season 39 News On Viewers
The popular game show Jeopardy! has been telecasting under temporary hosts Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings for quite some time. While the show’s executive producer Michael Davies did hint at the announcement of a permanent host soon, no official statement has been released yet.
Is Jeopardy! Back With Live Audience?
But the game show recently made an announcement that fans have been waiting for quite some time. Back when the pandemic hit the world, most game shows like Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune stopped taping with a live audience. As reported by TV Shows Ace, Wheel of Fortune has already started its live audience format, Jeopardy! Season 38 didn’t follow suit.

However, there is good news for Jeopardy! fans. The show recently uploaded a clip on its official Instagram account welcoming fans to be a part of the studio audience with Season 39.
The video was captioned, “Welcome back to the Alex Trebek Stage, Jeopardy! fans! Tickets for our studio audience are once again available via the link in our bio.”
The clip had a mixed voiceover from the old episodes of hosts Alex Trebek, Mayim Bialik, and Ken Jennings. As the video started, it showed a slow panning shot of the empty audience with the voiceover that went,
“From the Alex Trebek stage, this is Jeopardy!” (A popular introductory welcome by late host Alex Trebek)
This was followed by bits from Mayim Bialik and Ken Jenning’s stint as the game show’s host.
The clip also had a text overlay stating, “It’s not the same without you! Welcome back! Season 39 tickets now available at Jeopardy.com.”
Fans Want Ken Jennings As Jeopardy!’s Permanent Host
Fans quickly reacted to the video. One asked, “When is Ken J coming back?”

Another chimed in, “Love Mayim.” A third addressed the negative emotions towards host Mayim Bialik stating, “I don’t understand all the meanness. I love her & her intelligence level is on par with most guests.”
A fourth fan wished, “If only Alex Trebek saw that,” while a fifth requested, “Please make Ken the permanent host. We all know it’s for the best.”
“Keep Mayim in her original role as the host of prime time. She can fill in too if Ken has a health emergency or something,” they added.
“Both are great, but Ken is just a little bit calmer for the syndicated show, and Mayim is peppy enough for the prime-time events. She could also do the tournament for college, kids, & celebrity Jeopardy!” said the fan concluding their request.

Have Ken Jennings be the permanent host. Mayim can take her butt back to TV sitcoms which is her better suit. She has a real attitude problem and makes too many errors with the show. Ken Jennings has the personality and just the right stuff to be Jeopardys permanent host. Alex would have wanted him for the spot.
If the “mistakes” she is making were a problem, you would never see them. Producers would have the episode re-played.
Ken comes across-to me-as a bit on the arrogant side. But I don’t dislike him on the show.
Since Alex isn’t here, no one can say what he would want.
I love Mayim. She is a breath of fresh air for the show.
I love Ken Jennings because he puts more emphasis on the answers then the questions and he’s so humorous with the contestants.
If I had to choose a host for Jeopardy I would definitely choose Ken Jennings
Ken as regular host, Mayim as Prime time and Buzzy for tournaments.
We love Ken Jennings and we believe that he is the person that Alex wanted to host the show!! Please bring him back!! We love watching Jeopardy!
Enough is enough! I don’t understand. Why did you have all these guest hosts when it was clear what Alex wanted from the beginning? Alex wanted a person equal to him or better and that person is Ken Jennings. Just give him the job. No other person can come close.
