Peta Murgatroyd Pens Sweet Love Note To Husband On Their Anniversary
Dancing With The Stars alumni Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy celebrated their wedding anniversary this week. The couple married on July 8, 2017 and have been happily together ever since.
It’s definitely been a difficult year for the couple. Together, they faced fertility challenges in addition to Maks’ daring escape from Ukraine during the Russian invasion. But after all these years, Maks and Peta are still going strong.

Peta Murgatroyd & Maks Chmerkovskiy happily celebrate another year together
Through thick and thin, Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy are in it for the long haul. The couple met long ago on the set of Dancing With The Stars and sparked a connection.
On January 4, 2017, Peta gave birth to their son, Shai. So far, he’s the couple’s only child, but they’re hoping for more very soon.
But on July 8, Peta took some time to reminisce on their wedding day and pay tribute to Maks.
“The Hora. No Jewish wedding is complete without the Hora, or chair dance,” Peta began her Instagram tribute to Maks. “In this tradition, a few strong and brave guests hoist the bride and groom high above the crowd on chairs to the infectious sounds of ‘Hava Nagila’.
She attached a video of the Hora from their wedding reception.
“Reminiscing today,” the DWTS pro continued. “Happy 5th Anniversary my love @maksimc …I would do it again 1000x over just to feel this joy again. I love you and although I forgot last year 😬 I hope this year I can make it up to you. Marry me again? 🤷🏼♀️ 7/8/2017 💋”
“Mazel Tov! 🙌❤️” one fan congratulated the happy couple.
“Happy anniversary to you both ❤️❤️❤️” added someone else.
Fans hope that Maks and Peta will have many more happy years together.
The couple looks forward to expanding the family
For several years now, Maks and Peta said they would love to have more children. But recently, Peta opened up about her miscarriages and struggles to have another child. But even so, the couple is trying to figure things out. Recently, they announced they are undergoing fertility treatments so they can conceive.
And on top of that, Maks and Peta might be considering twins too. Multiples are common when couples undergo fertility treatments, so it’s definitely a possibility. However, the couple acknowledges that will be a major change. So for now, they will just wait and see what life has in store for them.
