Is Expedition Unknown Host Josh Gates Married?
For the fans of Josh Gates, the good news is that he is single and back on the market. In August 2021, Josh’s ex-wife, Hallie Gnatovich, announced via an IG post that she & the travel show host are officially divorced. The divorce was finalized on July 12, 2021.
In the post, Hallie mentioned that they had been separated for more than a year. She ended the post by stating that she and Josh are now working on co-parenting their children. She also mentioned that she stands with individuals dealing with a similar situation.

As per Distractify, Hallie and Josh first met during the making of Destination Truth, a show by Syfy which isn’t entirely different from Expedition Unknown. However, the former has more of a paranormal twist. The couple later got married on September 12, 2014. The former couple shares two children. Their son Owen was born in February 2016, while they welcomed daughter Isla in 2018.
Fans also saw an emotional moment on Expedition Unknown. This was when Josh found out during the Christopher Columbus special that he was going to be a father.
What Happened Between Hallie and Josh?
The question that has been ailing fans’ minds is why the couple got divorced. Truly speaking, the reason why the couple divorced is unknown. The Instagram announcement by Hallie made no mention of the reason the couple parted ways.
While they have surely moved on, the ex-couple is now completely focused on raising their children in a healthy environment.
