Tia Booth Details Freaking Out Over Pregnancy
Tia Booth has been planning the perfect wedding to her fiance Taylor Mock after a whirlwind romance. She recently got the opportunity to share some unexpected news with him. Tia is expecting her first child. Talking to her co-hosts on Click Bait With Bachelor Nation, she talked about how at first, she was freaking out.
Tia Booth first came to Bachelor Nation on Arie Luyendyk’s season. After being eliminated in week 8 she returned for two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise. Those relationships also didn’t work out. She met Taylor at a party before her last stint on the beach. When she came back, they started hanging out. Now they’re engaged and expecting their first child only a year and a half later.
What Did Tia Booth Say About Finding Out?
According to US Weekly, Tia Booth said, “I wasn’t as excited at first. I was freaking out.” She said trying to plan a wedding in six months and not planning to get pregnant. It threw her for a loop. Once the initial shock wore off, she was able to get excited about it.
Announcing on Instagram, Tia said, “Happy heavenly Father’s Day to the first man I ever loved and Happy soon-to-be Father’s Day to my forever.” Tia said they weren’t trying for a baby, but they also weren’t going out of their way to prevent pregnancy.
She said she found out nine days after getting engaged that she was expecting. She said before she found out, she had a dream about being pregnant and then one about losing the baby. After the dream, she took the test.
She Remembers Exactly When It Happened
Tia Booth says she knows the day she got pregnant thanks to her period tracking app. She said, “It was March 26 and we were about to go watch the Razorbacks play basketball. It was March Madness.” Her app said she was on a red day and that meant being intimate was risky if you didn’t want a baby.
They didn’t wait and did it anyway. Tia said she took four tests and then went to the doctor before telling her fiancé. Booth said she wanted to share the news on Father’s Day.
Her initial post got taken down by Instagram and she couldn’t figure out why. She reposted saying, “I talked about how welcoming a new life while mourning another one is this cycle of life.” If the baby is a boy, Tia plans to name him after her father.
