Zach Shallcross, Kaity Biggar Moving To California?
Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross of The Bachelor are happy to be able to share their relationship with the world. They’re enjoying discovering Austin, Texas together as a couple. They both lived in Austin before the show and both have a great love for all it has to offer. Now they can do all those things together.
The end of Zach’s season saw him torn between Kaity Biggar and Gabi Elnicki after sleeping with the latter during fantasy suites. He confessed this had happened to Kaity despite saying he wasn’t going to sleep with anyone during that time. Kaity won Bachelor fans over by asking him if he wanted a high five. In the end, she forgave him and the two were engaged on the show.
Kaity Biggar And Zach Are Living It Up In Austin
Zach Shallcross said he lived in Austin for four years before the show while Kaity had just moved there the year before. According to Austin Monthly, it just took one visit and she decided it was the town for her. Zach said he moved there for a job opportunity, but, “fell in love with it, as everyone does.”
When asked where they stayed while keeping their relationship secret Kaity shared she was in Canada and Zach went to Anaheim, CA where his family lives. They saw each other in secret on the weekends when the show would fly Kaity in to see him. The couple said it was nice to see each other even though they couldn’t go anywhere.
They have been making up for the lost time by doing everything they can together. They went to a Spur game and have been enjoying lots of great restaurants. Kaity had some of the girls from the show come to visit including current Bachelorette Charity Lawson and they rented an Airbnb. They went to the bars and danced with champagne and mimosas having a great time.
Do People Approach Them Everywhere They Go?
When it comes to getting approached in public, Zach said it depends on where they are. He said, “It’ll be at the most random times.” Kaity said people are sweet for the most part, congratulating them. The interviewer asked them why they thought Austin was becoming a hot spot for contestants to move after the show. Zach said obviously it’s a great environment and has live music and amazing food.
Zach also said in California there are so many people from Bachelor Nation. He said the two of them want to get back to their jobs and get back to being normal. Kaity is going back to her contract for nursing and she’s excited about it. They don’t want the limelight, they want normalcy. What do you think about the couple settling down in Austin?
