Peter Weber was ready to join BIP Season 8
One of the rumors swirling Bachelor Nation in recent months was Peter Weber joining Season 8 of BIP. Would he head to the beach to try to find love for the third (fourth? fifth?) time?
It turns out the rumors were true.
Peter Weber didn’t find love with Hannah Brown on Season 15 of The Bachelorette. He went on to headline his own season as The Bachelor.
At the end of the season, he proposed to Hannah Ann Sluiss but the engagement lasted just a few months. He later reconnected with runner-up Madison Prewett.
When that didn’t last, he rekindled his romance with former contestant Kelley Flanagan, but they split after less than a year together.
He confirmed to Us Weekly that he was planning on joining Season 8 of BIP to give it “one more try.”
In fact, he already had his ducks in a row for Paradise. He had already gotten the time off from his pilot job.
What happened?
Peter Weber will not be showing up on the beach in Mexico for BIP this summer. Why not?
He exclusively told the outlet that contract talks with ABC broke down over money.
“But [ABC and I] ended up not being able to agree on anything,” he confessed.
He would have been the first male former lead to appear on BIP. Season 14 Bachelorette Becca Kufrin was on Season 7 of the show. While she left the show single, she reconnected with Thomas Jacobs after the show. The two are now engaged and planning their wedding.
Who he had an eye on in Paradise
Peter Weber dropped some hot gossip during his interview with Us Weekly. He revealed that he knew who would be on BIP and he had his eye on someone specific. He didn’t name names, but he teased the mystery woman was from Clayton Echard’s season.
ABC has yet to reveal the official cast list, but spoiler guru Reality Steve shared some of the names his sources have told him.

“There was someone. I’m not going to spill those names, but there was someone down there,” Peter said about one of Clayton’s contestants.
According to Reality Steve, Peter Weber’s former contestant Victoria Fuller is also on BIP Season 8.
