Tammy Slaton makes a surprising reappearance on TikTok this week
This isn’t the first time fans suspected that Tammy Slaton might be losing her hair. In Season 1, the TLC personality’s hair seems to be much fuller, even if it is short. By Season 3, her hair looks much thinner.
When a person struggles with medical issues, it’s not always uncommon for their hair to fall out. Tammy’s definitely been through a lot over the past several years. So it’s not unthinkable that it’s happening to her too.
The 1000-Lb. Sisters star hasn’t been active on her own social media accounts for a while. But she recently made an appearance on her ex-boyfriend’s TikTok.

Reports indicate that Tammy Slaton finally got her food addiction under control while in rehab. Some report that she even qualified for bariatric surgery, which will happen this summer. But until TLC officially confirms anything, fans really can’t know for sure what’s going on with Tammy. And this screenshot is definitely a little concerning.
What about the future of 1000-Lb. Sisters?
When Tammy was still active on TikTok, she teased that there would definitely be another season of 1000-Lb. Sisters. But TLC never made a formal announcement, which means the show’s future is still up in the air.
Amy Halterman is expecting her second child and said she might not have time for the show any longer. But that might not stop TLC from making a spin-off show exclusively starring Tammy Slaton.
According to The Sun, a friend of the family thinks that is a very big possibility. Many viewers exclusively tune into the show to see what Tammy is up to from week to week.
“There are so many options for Tammy even if Amy did quit the show,” the family friend admitted.
