Jessa Seewald shares a questionable post online.

On Facebook on Monday, April 18, Jessa Seewald shared a new post about her son, Henry. Henry turned five years old in February.

The new post is a part of her “Seewald Kids Say” series. She often shares quotes from her kids and hashtags them either #SayingsOfSpurgeon, #SayingsOfHenry, or #SayingsOfIvy. Typically, these quotes are cute or funny. But this new one fell flat and has fans asking questions about what Jessa was thinking when she posted it.

The five-year-old said, “Mommy, if you leave poop on your bottom for a long time then it’ll be a rash and it’ll hurt. But it won’t hurt as bad as being shot by a gun.”

Though she’s posted many different quotes before, she hasn’t really shared anything like this before.

Fans are confused and wondering what has possessed her.

Over on Reddit, Jessa Seewald’s bizarre Facebook post was reposted by Duggar Snarkers. And they are simply trying to figure out why she would post something like this.

One says, “… yeaa I get posting funny things your kid says but not stuff like this…..” Another asks, “Wtf. Why would she share this?”

Others think that this should have been shared with family members, not everyone on Facebook. Jessa’s Facebook page has nearly 600,000 followers, so many people have read this post about Henry.

Someone on Reddit wonders, “What would possess Jessa to post something like this?”

Another snarker jokes, “That escalated quickly.”

“TMI, Jessa. Girl, you don’t need to immortalize every weird thing your kid says on the internet so he can be embarrassed forever,” someone else chimes in.

  1. I think you should all kind your own business, kids say things. Maybe she has taught them the dangers of guns. People scrutinize things way too much.

  2. Well, after 35 years of babysitting, nothing a little one says really shocks me anymore! They MAY be working on teaching the kids the dangers of playing with guns, but I agree that a story like this could embarrass Sam into his adulthood!

  3. Jessa is one of the most immature of the Duggar girls. She thinks things her kids do are funny and they are not cute at all. She needs to concentrate on keeping her house and kids both alittle cleaner. The kids always look like they haven’t had a bath or had their hair combed. It is sad! She should not have had so many kids if she can’t take care of them.
