What went wrong between Kendall Long and Joe Amabile?
Kendall Long initially pursued Arie Luyendyk Jr. on Season 22 of The Bachelor. She came in third place on the ABC dating competition. The California native went on to appear on Season 5 of Bachelor In Paradise.
While there, she fell for fellow contestant Joe Amabile. The two split up before the season finale, but later reconnected. They dated for two years before announcing their split in 2020. The two reportedly split over disagreements on where to live.
When Joe Amabile showed up on Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, fans were hoping he would reconnect with fellow beach-goer Kendall Long.
However, he only had eyes for Serena Pitt. The two were among the historic three engagements during the season finale. Not only are the two still going strong, they are moving to New York City together.
Kendall Long has been silent about her own romantic entanglements after her breakup with Amabile. Until now.

Kendall Long took to her Instagram to share a series of snapshots that featured her new boyfriend. “And just like our relationship, these pictures get progressively weirder,” she joked in the caption.
She tagged a man named Mitch Sage in the photos. However, his Instagram is set to private, so not much is known about him. The visible part of his profile says he’s “Half aerospace engineer, half athlete, half matured adult.”
The Bachelor alum didn’t reveal details of how long her new romance has been going on. However, her Bachelor Nation friends and followers flooded the comment section with well wishes.
Tammy Ly wrote, “OMGGG I’m so excited for you guys!!” JoJo Fletcher called the couple “So adorable!!“
Kendall wrote, “He’s a keeper” in response to one comment.
Bachelor in Paradise returns for Season 8
ABC finally officially renewed Bachelor In Paradise for Season 8. However, fans shouldn’t expect Kendall Long or Joe Amabile to join the new season. The network has yet to announce which alums will be competing.
