Season 2 of My Dress-Up Darling?

My Dress-Up Darling introduced anime fans to Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo as the pair got closer to each other over the series. For that reason, plans are in place for a new Marin collectible to ensure fans won’t forget about the anime any time soon.

No matter how much fans would like it, there are no plans as yet for a possible Season 2 of My Dress-Up Darling. However, as the anime’s first season came to an end, a special new Marin Kitagawa figure is coming. In fact, after the end of the anime’s season, the official Twitter account for My Dress-Up Darling gave fans a first look at the prototype for a Marin figure.

However, it is still way too early in the development process for details of a proper release date or price. Fans can at least get an idea of the Marin figure that is coming soon. Have a look at the image in the tweet below:

For those who haven’t seen the anime yet

Anime fans who have yet to watch My Dress-Up Darling and want to know what all the hype is about can now stream the series. As noted by Comicbook, the anime is available on Crunchyroll and Funimation with both Japanese and English dubbed audio.

The official description of the My Dress-Up Darling anime tells us that Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi. His ambition is to be a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls.

While he is pretty good at the craft, he doesn’t have a clue about the latest fashion trends. For this reason, Wakana is having a hard time fitting in with his class. Meanwhile, the popular kids, particularly one girl, Marin Kitagawa, seem to be living in a completely different world. However, this all changes when Marin shares an unexpected secret with him. After this, their completely different worlds collide.
